What we collect
- Order information. When you check out, our payment processor Stripe collects your name, email address, and payment details, along with the business name and city you enter on the order form. Your full card number goes directly to Stripe; HearSay never receives or stores it.
- Messages. If you email us (for example, to request a free sample), we keep the message and your email address so we can reply.
- Nothing else. This website has no accounts, no advertising trackers, and no analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To prepare and deliver your audit brief, and to send your receipt and any follow-up about your order.
- To respond to your messages and sample requests.
- To keep the order and payment records we are required to keep for bookkeeping and tax purposes.
What we never do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your order information with anyone except the service providers needed to run the checkout and deliver your brief (such as Stripe and our email provider), and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
About the reviews in our briefs
Briefs analyze reviews that members of the public have posted on public platforms. A brief may quote short excerpts and refer to reviewer display names exactly as they appear publicly on those platforms. We work only with that already-public information.
Keeping and deleting your information
Order records are kept as long as bookkeeping and tax rules require. For anything else, email us at hello@hearsayaudits.com and we will delete your information unless we are legally required to keep it.
